A knowledge that makes the administrative work easier
Three entrepreneurs founded the artificial intelligence company HyperScience, with offices based in New York and Sofia
The number of companies in AI are becoming more and more nowadays. HyperScience is one of them. Peter Brodsky (co-founder & CEO), Krasimir Marinov (co-founder) ad Vladimir Tsankov (co-founder) founded HyperScience in 2014, although the idea was born back in 2013. They aim at developing а successful business, and what helps them to achieve that goal is their knowledge in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
About the company
HyperScience is an US high-tech company specializing in the automation of office and administrative work by using machine learning. The company implements deep learning and computer vision algorithms when developing their products in order to identify automatically the type of the document and to retrieve information from it. Their solutions not only introduce process automation for their clients, but also the ability to configure the degree of automation that is appropriate to the business needs of each particular process. “On top of outperforming direct competitors’ extraction capabilities, our types of technology and design decisions arm customers with metrics, dashboards, and benchmarks that provide better visibility and understanding into their operations. In this way, employees can focus on the business essentials and on improving their competitiveness. That is what distinguishes us as a company and makes us one of the best on the market”, said Peter Brodsky.
What is deep learning
Deep learning and computer vision are terms that
refer to the development and widespread penetration of artificial intelligence
into business processes. Krasimir Marinov explains what stands behind
the concept: “Deep learning is about the usage of big data and how to make
machines operate like ourselves without giving them explicit instructions.
Computer vision, these are computer science studies aimed at automatically
processing real-world images in order to extract and interpret the visual
information in them”.
HyperScience is focusing on automation of office and administrative work. However, how technologies will affect the development of this sector? According to Peter Brodsky by taking over the manual work traditionally done by humans today, enterprises save huge amount of time and money, which will ease companies globally.
People and technologies
We asked HyperScience share how they build skills within the team; how develop solutions and how train customers to use these solutions: “Our team of engineers has outstanding experience and knowledge when it comes to artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). The specification of our everyday work let us constantly improve our presence by sharing experience and skills. Every week colleagues from the US office visit us here and vice versa – that helps our team develop all the time. A month ago we launched our won educational program “HS Learn” inspired by our desire to support the IT industry development in Bulgaria and to focus more on machine learning”, shared Krasimir Marinov.
What about the English
However, the world does not speak and write in English only. That is why HyperScience will identify new way to overcome this “flaw”. By now, their main clients are English native, but still HyperScience’s solutions are suitable for countries such as Germany, Switzerland. One of their next big steps is to start training their models speak Cyrillic, Japanese, Arabic and other languages. The launch of these new algorithms depends a lot on the market demands.
Easy and flawless
As artificial intelligence is getting more familiar now, HyperScience becomes factor for change. Our goal is to help our customers serve their customers better. Banks will be able to approve more mortgages and approve those mortgages faster. Insurance companies will be able to resolve claims faster and more efficiently, which will result in savings those companies can pass on to their customers in the form of lower premiums. Government services will suffer fewer clerical errors, resulting in happier citizens. In healthcare, reducing clerical errors and expediting paper work will result in saved lives.
In this way, AI will work more for the people in future.
