tbi bank introduces interbank transfers via mobile phone number

All customers of tbi bank can now make an unlimited number of instant (blink) transfers in BGN using their mobile phone number only. The accounts to which the transfers can be made can be both at tbi and at any other bank that is part of BORICA's blink program.

Unlike most banks, the latest functionality in the tbi bank app is provided free of charge, as are all other transfers in BGN or EUR.

tbi was among the first banks to introduce instant payments by phone number between its customers, and the service is currently among the most widely used. Now users with the tbi bank app can quickly and securely send money to their acquaintances - they just need to have the recipient’s phone number, as long as they are also registered for blink transfers. The service is available at any time of the day. With just a few clicks in the app, and with no need to enter account details, the money arrives in seconds. All that is required is that customers have the recipient's phone number in their smartphone directory or at least know it by heart.

Instant transfer by phone number is the latest functionality addition to the tbi bank package for daily management of personal finances. That package stands out in the Bulgarian market with its absence of monthly fees, fees for opening and closing accounts and deposits, fees for transfers in leva and euros, and fees for household bill payments. tbi also offers conversion from euro to leva and from leva to euro at the fixed exchange rate of the BNB. In addition, neon card holders can save their money through the tbi bank app under one of the best conditions on the Bulgarian market - interest rates of up to 3.5% for deposits and 1% for the "Kasichka" flexible savings account, which allows depositing and withdraw funds at any time.

Recently, tbi introduced the first-of-its-kind ‘Shopping’ section in a mobile phone banking app. At this online marketplace, users can browse over 200 of their favorite stores and take advantage of the option to pay with a neon card and split payments into equal installments of three months (no fee) or six and twelve months (with a small fee).

Any Bulgarian citizen can become a customer of tbi just by downloading the mobile application and uploading identification documents, without the need to visit a bank office.
